How do I get a library card?
Any resident of the Longwood Central School District, 17 years of age or older, upon presentation of one current proof of residency (i.e.: current driver's license, Longwood school ID, recent utility or telephone bill, etc.) may complete an application in person and be issued a library card with full privileges and responsibilities. Library cards expire after 3 years and may be renewed in person at the Circulation Desk or by completing an online renewal form.
Getting a card for my child
An application for a library card for a child or teen aged 16 or younger must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian responsible for the minor. The parent or legal guardian, by signing the application, accepts responsibility for late or lost materials. At the time of application, the parent or legal guardian may choose whether the minor has Internet access in the library.
Where else can I use my card?
Your current Longwood Public Library card may be used at public libraries in Suffolk County.
