If you already have a Longwood Public Library card, and still reside in the Longwood School District, you may renew your card online by filling out the form below. We will notify you when your card renewal has been processed or if there are any outstanding issues with your account. Renewals may take up to 48 business hours.

In order to renew your card, you must upload proof of address. If you are unable to upload proof of address, please visit the library's Circulation Desk to request a renewal in-person. If you need assistance call 631-924-6400 x221.

ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF PROOF OF ADDRESS

• A current NYS driver’s license, learner’s permit, or non-driver's ID
• A bill, dated within 6 months, showing residence within the Longwood School District boundaries
• A copy of a lease agreement, mortgage or tax bill showing residence within the Longwood School District boundaries
• For children and teens: Current Longwood School District school ID, or a parent may provide proof of address with their name if their child/teen does not have proof of address.

Borrowing Guidelines

Valid Adult Longwood Public Library Card in good standing.
A maximum of three items from this collection may be borrowed at a time.
Equipment & Gadgets are available at the Adult Reference Desk and must be returned to the Circulation Desk. Gadgets placed on hold may be checked out at the at the Circulation Desk when ready for pickup. Equipment & Gadgets may not be returned to the book drop.
If any item is lost or damaged, the full value of the item will be charged to the patron account.
The library has a limited number of items in the collection; if the item comes back late or is lost, the library may not be able to honor reservations.
The use of some items may require precertification or training; if there are any precertification requirements, there will be a link in the item description to the required training.
