Event Description

Join Adult Reference librarian Carlton Welch on Zoom for a discussion of some of the entertainment available from the library. Patrons are encouraged to watch the films before attending the discussion sessions and will have an opportunity to share what they have been watching and hopefully learn about other media they can watch in the future.

Tonight we will be discussing Love Sarah (NR, 97 mins.), starring Celia Imrie and Shelly Conn. A young woman wishes to fulfill her mother’s dream of opening her own bakery in Notting Hill, London. To do this, she enlists the help of an old friend and her grandma. You can borrow it on Hoopla with your library card or reserve on DVD.

This program will be presented as a Zoom meeting. The URL and phone number for the meeting will be emailed to all registrants before the program.

Borrowing Guidelines

Valid Adult Longwood Public Library Card in good standing.
A maximum of three items from this collection may be borrowed at a time.
Equipment and Gadgets are available at the Adult Reference Desk and must be returned to the Circulation Desk. Equipment and Gadgets may not be returned to the book drop.
If any item is lost or damaged, the full value of the item will be charged to the patron account.
The library has a limited number of items in the collection; if the item comes back late or is lost, the library may not be able to honor reservations.
The use of some items may require precertification or training; if there are any precertification requirements, there will be a link in the item description to the required training.
