This class will discuss the benefits of being mindful and teach techniques to help the body and mind relax and reduce stress. Through mindfulness you can focus on being aware of your surroundings, feelings and senses. Taking the time to slow down and connect with what is around you may help you enjoy life a little more. This class is facilitated by a social work intern from Stony Brook University. Attend as many sessions as you wish.
This program will be presented as a Zoom meeting. You can attend this program online or via telephone. The URL and phone number for the "meeting" will be emailed to all registrants before the program.
