The Long Island Educational Opportunity Center (LIEOC) is offering a Beginner English class at the library with certified teachers. The LIEOC is a tuition-free Adult Education program sponsored by SUNY Farmingdale.

A representative from the Suffolk County Office for the Aging will assist seniors to fill out forms and learn about various county-wide programs and services. Based on your situation, they can also direct you to other appropriate agencies.

The AARP Smart Driver Course covers defensive driving techniques and the normal changes in vision, hearing, and reaction time associated with aging.

A social worker from Family Service League will be available to assist with referrals to community agencies, health and social services, financial assistance services, food resources, immigration and residency information and unemployment assistan
