Event Description
Historian Rick Feingold discusses the female pilots of World War II (WASPs) who flew jets and sometimes new planes the men avoided. They endured discrimination, were paid less than men for the same job, they had no military standing, and received no Veterans benefits. But they proved women could fly planes as well as men and, in time, received their due recognition.
