Event Description
Winter is the time to start seeding, but NOT indoors. Learn how to successfully start seeds OUTSIDE in the winter. No greenhouse needed. Winter sowing techniques outside are easier than using a windowsill or with light lamps in the basement. Join Master Gardeners Carolyn Gee and Hope Kranidis of Cornell Cooperative for this hands on workshop to get an early start on your vegetables and flowers. Please bring a clear or transparent quart container or liter soda bottle that light must be able to pass through.
