Hurricanes are the greatest meteorological threat to Gulf and Atlantic coasts of the United States – Long Island included as Hurricane Sandy proved 8 years ago.  Learn about these storms, how to interpret the uncertainty in their forecasts and how they can impact Long Island from a local scientist with over 40 years of experience.
