Hand Quilting 101

Do you have an interest in quilting but are not sure where to start? This hands on class will explain the quilt making process from the beginning. You will learn quilting terms and techniques while working on a small tablerunner project. Required materials list includes: 100% cotton fabric,  1/3 yard light print for blocks , 1/3 medium print for blocks, 1 1/2 yards darker print for borders and backing, craft size low loft batting. Supplies needed include fabric scissors, utility scissors, 1 template plastic, mechanical pencil, fine paint permanent marker, 6" x12" acrylic ruler, size 9 hand sewing needles, neutral color thread and thimble.
