Event Description
Meet at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge for a guided woodland hike! This 1.5 hour tour includes a hike around Old Ice Pond and time to view the animals. Families will explore and learn about various woodland habitats including the Pine Barrens, a field, a pond, and a bog. The animals in the outdoor cages are native New York animals that have permanent disabilities and are unable to survive in the wild.
Please note that this program is offsite and meets at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge which is about 30 minutes from our library.
