Event Description

Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just recently picked up a camera, you’re sure to learn something from this 1-hour lecture by Professor John Stefanik of Suffolk County Community College.  Professor Stefanik will delve into the early days of photography, including the important contributions of pioneers like Henry Fox Talbot and his Photogenic Drawings.  Professor Stefanik received his BA from Parsons College and his Masters and MFA from the highly regarded University of Iowa School of Art and Art History.

This lecture is in conjunction with Professor Stefanik’s personal works which will be on display in the library’s gallery from May through June.
