Event Description
Better late than never! Join us in celebrating Women's History Month a week late (Women's History Month is actually March) with an entertaining and educational musical revue that tells the story of how American women won the right to vote. This exuberant and lively performance of sometimes humorous and often touching songs and stories traces the struggle for Women's Suffrage from its beginnings along with the Abolitionist and Temperance Movements all the way through Modern Feminism in the 21st century. The musical revue was created by Valerie diLorenzo, an award-winning cabaret artist who resides in Sag Harbor, and Amanda Borsack Jones, a musical director, and East Hampton native.
