Bookstormers: After-School Book Club for 7th & 8th Graders (Teens)

Come 'read up a storm!' with our newest book discussion! Join librarians from both the LPL and LJH as we discuss:

The Gauntlet by Karuna Riazi

If you like Jumanji, you’ll love this story! At Farah's 12th birthday party, she mistakenly receives an odd board game called The Gauntlet of Blood and Sand from her aunt. Despite Aunt Zohra's warnings, Farah and her friends are sucked into the game and must battle the evil Lord Amari and win in order to save themselves and retrieve Farah's younger brother. Attendees who read the book and participate in the group book review at the program will receive 3 hours of community service.

This program will take place in the library at the Longwood Junior High School. A late bus will be provided at 4pm, but you must be registered to attend.
