Three Times Lucky by Sheila Turnage
Mo is a rising sixth grader in the small town of Tupelo Landing. She washed ashore in a hurricane eleven years ago and found a home with the Colonel - a café owner with a forgotten past of his own - and Miss Lana, the fabulous café hostess. When a lawman comes to town asking about a murder, Mo and her best friend, Dale Earnhardt Johnson III, set out to uncover the truth in hopes of saving the only family Mo has ever known. Attendees who read the book and participate in the group book review at the program will receive 3 hours of community service.
The snacks provided may not be suitable for those with food allergies.
Registration begins March 13 at 9:30 A.M.
This program will take place in the library at the Longwood Junior High School. A late bus will be provided at 4pm, but you must be registered to attend.
