5 Hour Pre-Licensing Class (Teens)

The five-hour pre-licensing class is required by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles for all applicants who would like to schedule a road test. The class will be taught by an instructor from a local driving school and is open to both district and non-district residents ages 16 and up. You must bring your picture NY State Learner’s Permit to class (temporary paper permits will not be accepted). The cost for this class is $55 which is payable to the instructor on the day of class.  Payment must be made in cash with exact change.   Phone and in-person registration only, no online registration.
