DESCRIPTION: Day & Evening Programs - TASC Program - classes are available to students who want to attend a preparation course that will enable them to pass the college entrance exam, prepare for the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), earn a high school equivalency credential, and improve educational skill levels and chances for employment. The instruction and classes are specially designed and customized for the student's skill level. Students will work at their own pace and instruction will be individualized or in small groups. Three-hour classes at each campus, which meet twice a week, offer instruction in subjects which include, among others, reading, English and math. Students must pay a fee of $150 to participate. This fee entitles the student to 90 hours of instruction. Who is eligible to receive services: those who are18 years of age or older and are no longer attending school. Their high school class has had to have graduated, or it has to have been one year since they legally attended school.
