Program Description

Event Description

Join Miss Alyssa on Thursdays and listen to the book Holes by Louis Sachar.  Each week she will read a few chapters, while you munch on your lunch.

Here's a little bit about this great book which is most appropriate for children in grades 5-6:  "Stanley has been unjustly sent to a boys’ detention center, Camp Green Lake, where the boys build character by spending all day, every day digging holes exactly five feet wide and five feet deep.  Stanley tries to dig up the truth in this inventive and darkly humorous tale of crime and punishment—and redemption."
