Program Description

Event Description

Summer is a great time of year but it can also increase your risk of developing skin cancer. Skin cancer is the most common of all cancer types, with more than one million new cases diagnosed each year. Join us as Stony Brook Medicine expert Dr.Douglas Atmatzidis discusses the importance of sun safety and the signs, risks and prevention strategies of skin cancer. Have fun in the sun while staying safe and healthy.

This program will be presented as a Zoom meeting.  You can attend this program online or via telephone. The URL and phone number for the "meeting" will be emailed to all registrants upon completion of registration and also one hour prior to start time.

Not sure how to use Zoom? Take a tutorial with our Tech Librarian Alison.
