Event Description

A marine life lesson will be presented by Town of Brookhaven Environmental Educator, Nicole Pocchiare, and will incorporate up close observation of marine life from Long Island Sound. This conservation through appreciation educational program is designed to nurture more resilient communities and is brought to you in part by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation with the Long Island Sound Study.

Please choose only ONE day and ONE time per family. Each family will sit together to enjoy this program on a designated blanket under our outdoor tent therefore we are asking that you only bring your immediate family to the program. Extra guests cannot be accommodated due to space restrictions

Valid Adult Longwood Public Library Card in good standing.
A maximum of three items from this collection may be borrowed at a time.
Equipment and Gadgets are available at the Adult Reference Desk and must be returned to the Circulation Desk. Equipment and Gadgets may not be returned to the book drop.
If any item is lost or damaged, the full value of the item will be charged to the patron account.
The library has a limited number of items in the collection; if the item comes back late or is lost, the library may not be able to honor reservations.
The use of some items may require precertification or training; if there are any precertification requirements, there will be a link in the item description to the required training.
