Program Description

Event Description

There’s so much to learn about in the forest! We know that not every group can travel to the Quogue Wildlife Refuge to enjoy the trails, so that’s why we’re bringing the trails to you! “Hike” through habitats including the Pine Barrens, a field, a pond, and a bog. Topics include local flora and fauna, fire ecology, forest layers, decomposition, succession, and habitat protection.

This program will be presented as a Zoom meeting. You can attend this program online or via telephone. The URL and phone number for the "meeting" will be emailed to all registrants before the program.

Not sure how to use Zoom? Take a tutorial with our Tech Librarian Alison.
