Yes, you can do yoga from a chair! Yoga is simply joining movement to breath. In chair yoga, postures are adapted through creative use of a chair as a support. Each class begins with an active practice - both seated and/or standing - based on participants needs, includes gentle seated restorative postures and ends with meditation. Enjoy a safe, supportive and nonjudgemental environment for stretching and strengthening your muscles while developing a sense of ease in your mind.
