Event Description

Photographer Frank T. Smith views the term “backyard” not literally but more where he can photograph within a short distance from home. When he is not traveling, he has a regular routine of Saturday morning walks/ hikes, often with his dog Bo. These walks may be the same each week but the photographic opportunity changes regularly. Frank’s presentation will share how he takes the opportunity in the moment to capture something that he may not have been looking for - but happy he found. A sunset or water droplets on a blade of grass can create the most pleasing imagery. If you are not outdoors or if you don’t stop and look around, you will miss all that nature has to offer.

This program will be presented as a Zoom meeting. You can attend this program online or via telephone. The URL and phone number for the "meeting" will be emailed to you upon registration and also one hour prior to the start of the program.

Borrowing Guidelines

Valid Adult Longwood Public Library Card in good standing.
A maximum of three items from this collection may be borrowed at a time.
Equipment and Gadgets are available at the Adult Reference Desk and must be returned to the Circulation Desk. Equipment and Gadgets may not be returned to the book drop.
If any item is lost or damaged, the full value of the item will be charged to the patron account.
The library has a limited number of items in the collection; if the item comes back late or is lost, the library may not be able to honor reservations.
The use of some items may require precertification or training; if there are any precertification requirements, there will be a link in the item description to the required training.
