Should any requests for library privileges be received from individuals owning businesses in our district, cards may be issued in the name of the business. Proof of address on letterhead signed by the owner is required. The owner will provide the names of employees who are authorized to use the card. Such cards will be limited to "Local Use Only" with Interlibrary Loan request privileges. Accordingly, any overdue or lost library materials would then become the responsibility of the business owner.
Brookhaven National Laboratory Residents
The Library will grant Brookhaven National Laboratory residents full library privileges for "Local Use Only" including Interlibrary Loan. The Library will issue one adult card per family.
It should be noted that there is no basis for denying anyone a library card who is a resident of our district. The delinquent borrowing record of one member of a family cannot be used against another member of the same family.
